本研究基于宏病毒组学分析了上海海洋大学校园土壤中DNA病毒群落组成特点。结果表明,有尾噬菌体纲(Caudoviricetes,73.96%)病毒为优势病毒,Zobellviridae(0.47%)和Autographiviridae(0.18%)为优势病毒科。此外,还鉴定到ssDNA病毒科Parvoviridae(0.002%),该病毒科中含有少数可以感染人类的病毒。基因共享网络分析显示,近一半的校园土壤病毒属于新的病毒属。功能基因注释分析表明,校园土壤病毒编码的基因主要与病毒的复制相关。 16个病毒辅助代谢基因功能暗示,病毒可能参与土壤中碳循环和硫循环的调节。4.88%的病毒预测出宿主,包括7个细菌门和40个细菌属。其中,假单胞菌属(Pseudomonas)、弧菌属(Vibrio)、链球菌属(Streptococcus)、军团菌属(Legionella)和埃希氏菌属(Escherichia)等含有人类致病菌。研究结果增进了对校园土壤病毒多样性特点的认知,也为评估校园环境卫生安全提供了一定的数据支撑。 |

This study is to analyze the constituent features of DNA viral community based on macrovirology in soil of the campus of Shanghai Ocean University. The results showed that the class of Caudoviricetes (73.96%) were the dominant viruses, with the families of Zobellviridae (0.47%) and Autographiviridae (0.18%) as the dominant viral families. Additionally, the family of ssDNA virus Parvoviridae (0.002%), which contains a small number of viruses that can infect human, was also identified. The gene sharing network analysis revealed that nearly half of the campus soil virus codes were novel in genus level belonged to new virus genera. Functional gene annotation analysis showed that campus soil viruses mainly encoded genes related to virus replication. The study also identified the function of 16 virus auxiliary metabolic genes, suggesting that campus soil viruses may participate the regulation of carbon and sulfur cycles in the soil. Only 4.88% of campus soil virus sequences predicted hosts including seven bacterial phyla and forty bacterial genera. Among them, Pseudomonas, Vibrio, Streptococcus, Legionella, Escherichia and contained other human pathogenic bacteria. The results of this study enhance the understanding of the diversity characteristics in the campus soil viruses, also provide certain data support for the assessment of the campus environmental health safety. |
