Taking Hunan University of Science and Engineering as an example, this thesis studied and analyzed the current existing problems of "microbiology experiment" in the university. Aiming at the university′s goal of fostering application-oriented talents, this thesis has made improvements as follows: optimizing the teaching content of the experiment, that was conducted according to the principle of "strengthening the basic experiment, improving the practical ability, and reflecting characteristics"; reforming the teaching method of the experiment, which took the inquiry teaching and the blended teaching as main teaching modes in combination with online teaching; reforming the evaluation methods of the experiment, which adopted the evaluation system of "grades in normal times-experiment report comprehensive evaluation"; strengthening the construction of teaching staff and improving evaluation methods. The results showed that the students′ ability in analyzing problems, solving problems, and innovating has been greatly improved, which promoted students to think positively, discover new phenomena, and improve experimental techniques and methods in time, and then improve students′ learning effect and promote the application-oriented talent fostering. |
